IndicationsInflammation (swelling) of the ear is called ‘otitis’. Otitis ear infection may result from bacteria invading the external, middle or inner part of the ear. There are 2 common types of ear infections, otitis media and otitis externa. Symptoms may include pain in the ear, impaired hearing, raised temperature, vomiting (usually in children and babies) and discharging mucus which is a result of a burst eardrum.
