IndicationsAntibiotics can upset the healthy bacteria in the gut and cause diarrhoea. Sometimes this diarrhoea can be due to Clostridium difficile, (a bacteria that can get into the gut when other ‘good’ bacteria have been killed off by the antibiotics).
